Job Description

Create and lead activities based on your observations of the children’s interests and needs. Communicate daily with parents. Document and share the important milestones in their child’s day. Keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines. Positively guiding children's behaviors. Exceeding the Department of Health's Child Care Licensing rules and regulations. Build responsive, nurturing relationships with children, families, and co-workers. Provide a safe, healthy, engaging learning environment to support the whole child.

Educational Background

  • Minimum of High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of eighteen (18) months of verifiable work experience with children in a group setting, 12 credit hours in early childhood education, elementary education and/or related field, and a minimum of six (6) months of verifiable experience working with children in a license facility, or have training in early childhood education and a minimum of eighteen (18) months of verifiable work experience with children in a group setting

State of Arizona Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required

  • Copy of Driver License

  • Must pass a Criminal Background Check

  • A negative TB test within the last 12 months

  • State of Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card

  • State of Arizona Food Handlers Certification

Our Requirements

  • Possess or obtain First Aid/CPR Certification
